Charity trip for poor families in Da Nang

In April 2023, Tri Nguyen Cares organized a charity trip to Da Nang City to assist families facing economic hardship. The five-member team made thorough preparations to ensure a smooth and impactful mission.

Planning and Logistics

Prior to the trip, Tri Nguyen Cares successfully raised 60 million VND through fundraising events and donations from generous benefactors. This fund was allocated to purchase 20 bowls of rice, 20 boxes of instant noodles, 10 bottles of cooking oil, 10 bottles of fish sauce, and 100 kg of sugar. Additionally, the team prepared 20 envelopes, each containing 1 million VND in cash, to directly support households in particularly challenging situations.

To minimize costs, all supplies were transported from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang using two large trucks, with logistical support from a local transport company.

Aid Distribution and Community Impact

Over two days in Da Nang, the charity team collaborated with local authorities to identify and assist 20 underprivileged households in Lien Chieu and Ngu Hanh Son districts.

The initiative provided essential relief and brought joy to many struggling families. Numerous recipients expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the support. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, 65, a resident of Ngu Hanh Son district, shared: “My family has been facing many difficulties, and this assistance brings warmth and hope. I am truly grateful to the team.”

A representative of Tri Nguyen Cares emphasized that beyond financial and material support, the trip aimed to uplift families emotionally and encourage them to persevere. The organization remains committed to launching similar initiatives in the future to continue its mission of community support and solidarity.​
